    According to the regulations of “Law of Citizen’s Organizations” and “Cooperative Societies Law,” the organizations such as civic organizations and cooperative societies are set based on common interests, blood relations, religions, living areas, or professions. The purposes for establishing these organizations are to cooperate with people coming from different fields, professions and levels to focus on public benefits, to contribute their wisdom and strength to serve people, to effectively manage human and material resources, and to advance social harmony and prosperity. Until the end of August, 2017, there were 389 professional organizations, 4,344 social associations, 271 teachers’ organizations and 173 cooperative associations altogether in New Taipei City.

Task Goal:
    We regard “vitalizing non-profit organizations and establishing welfare Greater Taipei” as a goal. We will also offer civic organizations and cooperative societies some guidance for their normal operation so that their organizations can be healthily developed and functioned. We may combine their resources to create positive links with various social welfare services.

  2. 2. Providing educational trainings to civic organizations
  3. 3. Evaluating task performance of civic organizations
  4. 4. Guiding organizations to positively participate in social welfare service.
