Plurk In New Taipei City, there are 1,790,947 women over 15. New immigrants have become the group to whom we have specially paid attention. The number of these immigrates has reached to 102,275 (30,399 foreign spouses and 71,876 spouses from Mainland China). To help these new arrivals to settle in, we establish New Taipei City Immigrants" Family Service Center and also widely set up community care stations for them. We also facilitate influence of communities to help new inhabitants accommodating to Taiwanese society.
Task Goal:
“Happy and Healthy New Women in New Taipei City” is a soundbite that we strive to achieve in women"s welfare service. To care for disadvantaged women, we will provide various welfare services and positively integrate with resources to demonstrate systematic service. In addition,the promotion of rights and interests will be strengthened to let women realize what they can ask for and what they want. Starting from women groups and individual women, we can carry out various women’s welfare services and further make New Taipei City become a wonderful place.
